Any of them forwards standard Solana shreds, so your decoder does not change. What changes is region coverage, output format, and whether you pay for bytes. We sell one of these. Jito told everyone to go here, and that recommendation is not empty. DoubleZero offers private fibre and multicast distribution for Solana participants across roughly thirty metros. Where it wins: teams already attached to DoubleZero, buyers needing unusual metros, and organisations that prioritise private transport over the monthly fee. Where it loses: integration effort and price. GRE and multicast require network work beyond opening a socket, and each additional machine receives its own subscription charge.
Helius - the stake argument
Helius runs a large validator, so its position in Turbine's stake-weighted propagation tree is part of the product argument. A node higher in that tree can observe a shred before a lightly staked listener. Treat the claimed advantage as measurable network behaviour, not as a line to accept on reputation. That is a real, capital-backed advantage rather than a marketing claim - but it is also a testable one, and you should test it rather than take it on faith. It is exactly what shredbench exists to measure. Helius also offers preprocessed transactions over WebSocket, which is decoded pre-execution data without you writing a deshredder. Where it wins: you want the stake-position advantage, you want an alternative to writing decode logic, you want automatic region selection rather than picking a metro. Where it loses: $1,000 per IP adds up quickly across destinations, and per-IP seats mean the cost scales with your footprint.
Triton One - the decoded path
Triton publishes shred streaming at $1,500 per IP per data centre and offers deshredded gRPC alongside raw UDP. If you want transactions rather than packets, this is a serious option and the engineering saved is real. Read the bandwidth line before you budget. Triton lists $0.08 / GB bandwidth across its services. A full shred feed moves a great deal of data - enough that at any per-gigabyte rate, metering can exceed the headline subscription. Whether that rate applies to a dedicated shred stream is not stated on the pricing page, so ask them directly and get the answer in writing. Where it wins: you want decoded output from a mature provider with global coverage and senior support. Where it loses: potentially the invoice, depending on how metering is applied.
OrbitFlare - the SLA and the regions
OrbitFlare lists eight regions and a 99.99% availability commitment. It supplies raw UDP with IP allowlisting; verify the current regional price matrix before ordering. They also discount for commitment: 5% quarterly, 10% semi-annual, 15% annual. Where it wins: you need several regions from one vendor, or you need a signed uptime commitment. Where it loses: premium-region pricing is ten times ours for the same raw UDP shreds in the same city.
ERPC - the mid-market
€398/month for UDP forwarding, with multi-region shred bundles above that. Reasonable middle ground if you want more than one region without DoubleZero money. Watch the product names. ERPC sells a cheaper "Shredstream gRPC Endpoints" line at €198/month that is a different product from UDP forwarding. Confirm which one you are buying.
bloXroute - the unknown
Raw UDP to an IPv4 endpoint across Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Tokyo, New York and Singapore. Their documentation covers the format well and publishes no price at all, so we cannot compare it. Ask them.
Running your own staked validator
The only option with no vendor in the path. You take shreds at the source and answer to nobody. It is also a staked validator: hardware, stake, monitoring, upgrades, and an operational surface completely unrelated to whatever you were actually trying to build. Past a certain size this is correct and every feed on this page is a tax. Below that size it is a distraction wearing the costume of an optimisation.

$100 per 30 days per destination. Raw UDP from Frankfurt at 64.130.40.90, maximum 1,228 bytes, no metering, no bandwidth caps, paid in USDC or SOL, up to five destinations per account. Where we win: you execute in or near Frankfurt, you want raw shreds, you already have or want to own your decoder, and you would rather have a fixed $100 bill than a 99.99% promise attached to a $1,000 one. Where we lose: every other region on earth. No decoded output. No SLA. No enterprise support contract. No private network. If any of those is a requirement, buy from someone above. We publish our cost structure and margin on economics precisely so that this comparison can be checked rather than believed.

Then read win rate - how often each feed arrived first - because first arrival matters more than an average. Two months of the cheap option costs less than one month of the expensive one, and it replaces this entire article with a number from your own machine. That is a good trade at any size.
