Privacy

The short version

We hold your email address and the network address you asked us to send data to. That is very nearly everything. We do not run advertising, we do not sell data to anyone, and there is no third party analytics on this site.

What we collect and why

Your email address. It is your account. There is no separate registration, so the address you pay with is the address you sign in with. We use it to send sign in codes and to tell you about your own service.

Your destination address and port. We have to know where to send packets. It is stored against your account and shared with our delivery infrastructure, because that is what makes the product work.

Payment records. Payments settle on a public blockchain. We hold the transaction reference and the amount. We never see or hold a card number, because we do not accept cards.

Ordinary server logs. Requests to this site produce logs containing an IP address, a timestamp and a path. They are used for security and debugging and are not used to build a profile of you.

What we deliberately do not do

We do not put credentials, tokens or sign in codes into logs, analytics or the browser's storage. We do not track you across other sites. We do not run third party advertising or marketing pixels.

Who else sees it

Our checkout provider processes your email and payment in order to take the payment. Our email provider processes your address in order to deliver a message. Our delivery infrastructure holds your destination address in order to send packets to it. Nobody else.

How long we keep it

Account records last as long as the account. An expired destination is retained for 90 days so that a late renewal does not require you to verify the same address again, and is then removed. Server logs are kept for a short operational window and then discarded.

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to delete it, and we will do it. Deleting your account ends delivery, and since fees are not refundable it is worth waiting until your term ends unless you have a reason not to.

A note on jurisdiction

This is an internet native project rather than a company with a registered office, so there is no corporate entity named here to receive a formal data request. That is a real limitation and we would rather state it than obscure it. In practice, write to us and we will do the thing you are asking for.
